JIT Services was organized in 1988 to provide vendor managed inventory services to Chrysler’s Electronics facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Our systems and process were specifically developed to provide efficient just-in-time deliveries to support a one billion dollar operation. JIT Services has since enjoyed phenomenal growth and now operates in more than 500,000 square feet of warehouse space with just over 100 employees.

Our ability to efficiently operate with a small staff is due to our warehouse optimization techniques. Each distribution facility is strategically designed to eliminate waste in the inventory cycle. Error proofing methods are incorporated in the inventory cycle using RF scanner technology.

Our proprietary inventory management system enables JIT Services to create customized solutions for each customer. Changes can be made quickly as new service requirements occur. The JIT Services website has real-time inventory transactions with downloadable reports such as clear-to-build information, inventory transactions, and aging reports.

Additionally, our talented team of professionals offer a wide array of value added & fulfillment services to accommodate our customer’s needs. Custom programming, lead forming, taping, reworking, sorting, inspection, sequencing and sub-assembly are just some of the services we provide. Many of these services require state of the art equipment and amenities such as vision systems, clean rooms and specialized parts cleaners, which are all readily available.
