In 1995 Mr Goossens started FIRST Shipping, specializing in shipping rolling stock to the African mainland.

First Shipping quickly realized that delivering the vehicles in Antwerp was a high barrier for customers. Good service means bringing the services to the customer’s home.

Today, almost 20 years later, FIRST Shipping has grown into one of the respected names in Export, with a European network of more than 25 branches across Europe.
