ABOUT DGM
The first company was established in the Netherlands in 1987.

DGM Support is still located in the Netherlands and serves as the organization’s headquarters.

As the first company outside the Netherlands, Dangerous Goods Management AS was established in Stavanger in 1991.

Later that year, a branch was established in Oslo.

In 1994, the first Danish company was established in Kastrup in collaboration with local forces within the transport industry.

In 2000, a branch was opened at Billund Airport.

Since 1 January 2007, DGM in Denmark has been owned by Henrik Thaarup.

Through our international network, DGM is able to solve problems globally.

DGM is presented in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Air Transport Association (IATA), European Convention on International Transport of Dangerous Roads (ADR) (consultation partners) and works closely with the IRU (International Road Transport Union). Globally, DGM is represented in more than 32 countries with almost 56 offices and a total of over 400 employees, all of whom maintain a high professional level in the handling and transport of dangerous goods. DGM has the most comprehensive licenses in the industry within training, packaging, handling, storage and transport of all hazard classes within dangerous goods, by any mode of transport. With this, DGM is the leading organization globally in these areas . TOTAL SOLUTIONS FOR COMPANIES IN DENMARK
DGM offers total solutions for companies in Denmark: All matters concerning the preparation of dangerous goods for transport by plane, car, train or ship can be handled by DGM, while the freight itself must still be arranged by a freight forwarder. In addition to the practicalities of document writing, packaging and labeling, DGM is a dealer of all items related to dangerous goods, such as hazard labels, forms and packaging – both interior and exterior.
The unique thing about our services is that we have an “accident insurance” which covers any damage caused by DGM. Therefore, our customers can leave the responsibility for the transport to us and at the same time know that the work has been carried out in accordance with applicable rules. Is the shipment cause of damage to e.g. the carrier, our insurance covers any claims from this. The insurance covers damages up to DKK 75,000,000.00 per accident.

With these facilities, DGM can be the “dangerous goods department”, as an alternative to paying for the ongoing training of employees in the company.

COURSE DEPARTMENT
DGM has a comprehensive course company, our instructors combine the practical experience from the package company with the theoretical material from the regulations. This provides a teaching and dissemination of the material with a practical approach as well as examples from everyday life.

Our courses and instructors are approved by the organization IATA to teach the transport of dangerous goods by air. We teach all modes of transport from sender to acceptance staff at the airport.

In addition to our authorized IATA courses, we also offer courses and training in car, train and sea transport aimed at shippers, freight forwarders / hauliers and shipping companies. The training is of a different nature, but is often adapted to the customers’ individual needs.

Our course page shows the type of courses, where they are held, when they are held and prices
