was set up by Albini & Pitigliani in 1945. In Italy, Prato, founded by two Italian families.

Today, the group is united by more than 60 companies in Europe and around the world. Representative offices are located on
all continents in major cities close to the world’s major seaports and airports.

UAB ALPI Baltika started operating in Lithuania in 2006.

History of Albini & PItigliani

1945 Albo Albini and Sandro Pitigliani set up their first company in Prate, a textile region near Florence. Its activities involved courier services in the south of Italy.
1946–1983 Development of the Italian network, establishment of companies in Florence and Milan, exclusive representation agreements throughout Europe and on other continents.
1984 The first ALPI company was established outside Italy in Amsterdam.
1985–1989 The ALPI European Network has been set up.
1990 The first ALPI company is established in Chicago, USA.
1991-1998 Establishment of the ALPI network in the United States and establishment of individual and joint ventures in South Asia, Korea, Taiwan and China.
1990-2000 Establishment of joint ventures and exclusive representation agreements guaranteeing global coverage of the customer’s cargo worldwide. The companies are currently established in Vietnam and Bangladesh.
2000-2010
Development in France and Germany, development of logistics business, management of strategic planning of companies.
ALPI currently has 64 companies worldwide with more than 800 permanent employees.

2006 ALPI Baltika was established in Lithuania.
