Since 1980, we have been in the clouds for being the leader in air cargo transport: from the longest to the shortest flights. Our path across the oceans has also been marked by achievements and a great desire to discover new directions. On the road, we have also managed to handle more and more orders, efficiently and safely. We are growing and, therefore, as long as there are roads to walk, our path will continue!
In order to work quickly and efficiently, we have a logistics and national distribution service that are the starting and ending point of the many trips we plan. To complement our services and so that requests from non-EU countries flow quickly, we have a team in the customs department that works daily to help you.
We are in Portugal and Angola, but we drive, sail and fly all over the world. We want to be a reference company in the transport and logistics market. The “Abreu Agency” was founded in Porto in 1840, by Mr. Bernardo Abreu and still belongs to the same family and direct descendants, and is currently in the fifth generation. Focused on the Travel and Tourism activity, it has 150 stores in Portugal, in addition to offices in Spain, Brazil, the United States and Angola.
In 1895, the management of cargo transport to Brazil and Africa began to be common and in 1957 the Cargo department was created. The continuous growth within the mother company of the cargo transport activity led to the creation of an autonomous company in 1994: “ABREU – CARGA E TRANSITOS, LDA.”. The financial stability that characterizes the history of the ABREU Group has allowed us to establish solid partnerships with our customers, agents and suppliers.
The common objective of all ABREU offices is to provide our clients with a personalized, efficient and high quality service. With extensive experience in offering international transport services, our secret lies in choosing the most appropriate means of transport for our customers’ needs, supported by qualified employees and our partners worldwide. We have offices and warehouses in Lisbon, Porto, Madeira (Funchal and Madeira Airport) and Azores (São Miguel – Ponta Delgada Airport, Terceira Island – Angra do Heroísmo and Lajes Civil Airport, and Faial Island – Horta). In 2011, Abreu Logistics bet on its internationalization, through the opening of offices in Luanda – Angola, where we have air and sea cargo services. They’ve been with us since day one. They accompany our growth and our victories. They learn from us and we from them.
